When James and I got back from England our friends, Lauren and Cody, had us over for dinner. Lauren made banoffee pie for dessert, which I had never had before. It looked very intimidating and I wasn't too keen on the whole banana thing. But, after the first few bites I was in love. Not only that, but I was craving it so much. So, I had to find an excuse to make it myself and sure enough an excuse came along. My brother came into town for Easter and I thought it was a perfect opportunity to have a little UK night (he's obsessed with England just as much as me) to bring England to him. So, I made shepherd's pie, chips with malt vinegar, pizza with brie, and banoffee pie for dessert. It was so delicious.
